today was damn good. after school at least. i realized it was the first time i had NOTHING to do when the last bell rang. what a blissful feeling. just reaching home, crashing on the sofa and watching anything that's on. no stress. ahh. luckily i managed to get through most of my work last weekend. so i'm like following that chinese idiom "getting through all the crap first then having fun later." or for the more authentic translation(say aloud with confucius accent) "first, ONE must go through plenty unpleasant shit in life, THEN one can truly enjoy no shit." i think that's how it goes.

hey np guys, thanks for the great time we had yesterday as a bunch. it was a wonderful feeling to be able to reconnect with the alumni batch 34 dudes. catching up with people i haven't seen for a year now...suffice to say it was a blast lah. i can hardly wait for the next anniversary parade - the 157th. KAP is going to regret letting us walk through our doors. haha. wouldn't get into the details of the mess we left behind but it did include milo, 12 sets of trays, drink cups and wrappings, and a lot of barbeque sauce.

POOL! never been out playing til so late lah. sunk in the last ball at around 11pm. :) what a fun, wild crowd to be out with, as opposed to the people i have to face now in that school. trying to organize ONE, PATHETIC outing is now much, much harder. i've given up. so yeah, thanks sji. batch 34 u guys seriously own.

it's amazing that even after not being in contact for a whole year we still have the strongest sense of camaraderie i have experienced thus far. even more so then any class, cca or group i have been in. talk about accepting people for who they are - you guys take the cake. can't really put into words the experience yesterday - so for you guys who were there, you know what i'm talking about. :D garh i miss you lot. ah well.

"to realize the value of a friend, lose one." lost a friend? yep, i sure have. it wasn't one of those cases you would normally expect - where it takes years to happen because the two parties lost contact. no. it happened overnight. over the hols, when we didn't see each other for mere days. when we got back, ready to start the new year, looking forward to the big changes coming up, the last thing i expected was the cold treatment from you. time heals all wounds? bullshit. as the months went by we just drifted further and further, till the point we would just wave hi when we saw each other, and leave it at that. and to think just a short time back, we were enjoying each other's company, joking around all the time... i really wonder what happened, where the camaraderie went. now you barely acknowledge the fact you knew me once.

i hate to admit it but it keeps me awake sometimes, reflecting on what really transposed. was it my fault? yours? til now i can still say, i really don't know. this feeling sucks bad. but what do u care? apparently you're happy on your own. i would still like to look forward to us patching up, but that cynical and usually right part of me says that's wishful thinking. so i realize what it means to not matter, but that's okay. who you are, who you used to be, doesn't matter to me either.

happy with myself today. 18m shooting at zhenghua archery range, and for the first time i passed! with a total possible score of 300, i managed to score 180, a personal best. (and second best score in my level, i must add. :D dun count nicholas lah, bloody gay national archer with a score of 292. GREAT SUCCESS!

i'm talking about our class food fair. under the advice of our all-knowing tutor(whose great sense of estimation and judgement i admire), we ordered 330 fish patties for the expected 300 or so guests. amazing. when we were setting up the stall, we realized we had no knife, power outlet, tablecloth, decorations, etc etc. just the bare essentials for making a pathetic fish burger. and then there was our class tutor, blaming us for being unprepared and shit when it was she who didn't want to put us in charge of anything in the first place. so bloody unreasonable. anyway, we finally got it set up and started waiting for customers. And waited. And waited somemore. Finally got damn bored, played DJMax on PSP. :P hehe. neared closing time, got desperate and started running around to hawk our goods. Hussein tried to teach me econs, said our marketing strategies were lousy. smiled and nodded to appease that fella.

so the teacher in charge did a round up of everything. drink stall - profit of $140. sandwhich stall - profit of $100. OUR STALL - loss of $230. AMAZING. we spent $312 on raw material, and manged to sell like 40 odd burgers. we rock man. so looking forward to the next college day. fish burgers, anyone?

today aimed to reach home at 11 and chiong circular motion. but instead played basketball after napfa, went for lunch at al-azhar(nasi pataya, yumm), went to marcus' home for tai tee marathon, then played pool for 2.5 hours. just reached home, only 7 hours behind time. I AM SO FREAKING DEAD MAN. but today was worth it. i found out im not yet the unfit bucket of lard i thought myself to be. HAHA. okay, today's breakdown.

Shuttle run - 10.5s. i was 10.0 last year. what the fuck.
pull ups - 13!!! aiyah, arm quite strained lah, never push myself. hehe. :D

ok so today's training at zhenghua was interesting. (im in archery, for the less enlightened of you.) the bloody rope markings in the ground were so old it was covered in grass, mud and was literally rooted to the earth. SO some genius decided to make us pull every single line up to make it more visible.

oh and in case u didn't know, there are 10 vertical ropes 90 meters long, and 11 horizontal ropes 60 meters long. so that's a grand total of 1.56 kilometers of frigging rope. SO f*cking fun. im so happy we pay 60 f*cking dollars a year for f*cking "course maintainence" and end up doing the f*cking labour ourselves. WHAT THE F*CK. on a lighter note, our seniors treated us to drinks which i thought was nice of them. =) in np see this kind of thing means can go buy 4D/toto/SCORE!/big sweep.

after that zhao-ed to KFC with marcus. TRIED to study econs, but ended up bitching about random shit. so now i finally know how to play around the world in 80 days, fuzzywuzzy, that click game, and such games bored and deprived people invent for use on others to make themselves feel better because they lead such sad lives they take joy in other human beings' anguish but fail to realize that those very same people don't give a f*ck about trying to figure that kind of shit out.

Oh today's sha villa visit was generally interesting. The theory parts were boring, and the food wasn't out of this world. BUT some waitresses were cute. haha. right, po? hehe. had a lot of fun ka jiao-ing miss soh. haha. the staff there must think we are one bunch of weirdos man...

i think i worried too much for chinese oral. i'm not saying it was that easy...but the question was totally random(as are the others for Os.) Question: what are some of the facilities for handicaps in S'pore? see, not too bad. talked a lot of shit. haha that's what we're trained for what. didn't know what a ramp was called so i inclined my forearm and said "siang hua ti yi yang". wahahaha pathetic i know but desperate times mah...what to do. Thankfully, we got two VERY VERY friendly and helpful examiners who even went through the trouble to translate for me.

After watching an ad on AXN...

I was watching some reality show called "the biggest loser". (Hols lah, nothing to do.=P) It's about a bunch of fat people who are supposed to lose as much weight as possible each week. Those who lose the least are then at risk of being eliminated. This "game" really got me to thinking.

The show producers have warped the meaning of losing weight. Is it to lose as much as possible or is it all about health and fitness?
Sure they provide fitness consultants and all the equipment money can buy, but what about those who have been eliminated? I don't think that they'll have the heart to maintain all the excercise regimes. They'll probably gain all that weight back. And I doubt the show producers give a damn. The contestants are nothing but mere puppets, made to pit against one another for American audience's amusement. What kind of health show is this? What kind of show eliminates people who can't lose enough weight? This goes to show how people today only care about appearance. Actually, this is obviously another effort to make a quick buck. This kind of thing should be an effort to encourage people to get fit and slim, not turning the participants against one another. Cancel this goddamn show and it's screwed up concept! It's doing nothing to improve society!

Ah. I feel better now. =D

Omg. It's finally over!!! After all that time wasted studying(haha), we're finally free! I'm talking about mid year exams of course. Anyone who's anyone should be out watching a movie right now. Watching Spider-man 3 at plaza sing later. =) Marcus lah take elect lit for what?? Haha jk jk. My endorphines are driving overtime now. ~damn high~ (oops still influenced by bio). Ah still got june hols to empty my mind. hehe. Ah well. 0 lvl year but still slacking off. I'm sick of hearing that from teachers anyway.
"Boys you all are taking 0 levels this year so please put in more effort!" ...whatever lah. screw the 0s. bleah. That fella who got 10 a1s, get a life. i mean, what, u spend the whole year studying or sth ar?! Ok ok enough of school life. Can't be bothered especially since mid year over.

Well, it's friday. Thank God. After 7 solid days of hardcore mugging I NEED a break. Still can't compare with Kenneth. Wah, mug chem and full history for the whole night without sleeping at ALL? Hi everyone! this is my 1st post ever. thanks for stopping by to read. haha sorry about the noobish skins and all... it'll improve. oh thanks glen for encouraging me to do this. haha.

Anyway, today was photo-taking for Np. walau there's this female assistant who's a REAL b*tch.. po xian was telling us where to sit, then suddenly she came and kinda shouted "talk talk talk, finish or not?!" wth man... and po xian actually said "yes"! haha dun encourage her lah po... just DAO. =) OH yay carried golden baton for the pic... not bad right, quite big shot lah.. haha ego ego.
