ok, so this might surprise you, but i don't think you are a bastard. a bit fickle minded, maybe, but bastard? nope.
first of all, i WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with you about life in JC. it sucks. hard. but i would encourage you to stick to it, and not avoid it just cos it's challenging. but i don't know lah, i feel i shouldn't judge you just cos u choose to deal with it differently than me. i guess it's just not my way. in fact i admire ur ability to change something you don't like, even if it means going through such drastic measures. yes, this was a shocker too.
okay about the culture thing in NJ. i should say my religious and social life has been taking a few beatings too. (though there wasn't much of either to begin with. haha. but that's not the point.) ANYWAY. "it sucks having those things taken away from me, and i want them back." hey, we all do. but only one of us feels strongly enough about it to actually get up and do something about it. okay, for that, i applaud you. and YES, you ARE a 6-pointer, you CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
right so all i have to say now, best of luck for getting that spot in that international school, and thanks a lot for leaving me in this rotting hellhole of a place. HAHAHA. but seriously, just go ahead with it. =) good luck dude!
oh but one more thing. i totally disagree with ur view on getting 6 points. it was one of the best things that have ever happened to me. ok sure, maybe ur view about the choices that come with it is quite substantial, but i would rather go to CJ, for example, out of choice rather than go there because a) everyone else is doing it. b) i got no other options. so yeah.
